Home Efforts continued to control the myrtle spurge outbreak that was discovered a few years ago. New plants were found and eradicated every visit (more than 200 plants in 2015). No plants were seen to bloom and set seed but it will take many years before the soil seed bank is depleted. Other activities included removal of trailside burdock, houndstongue and poison ivy, clearing logs, graffiti removal from the Spring Hollow footbridge to the Crimson Trail junction, misc. tread and switchback repair, and picking up trash.
